What do we need?
We are looking for an accomplished senior digital account manager to join our team and work on a challenging mix of projects for a global brand. We need someone who is articulate, smart and passionate about what they do, with a rounded skill set that covers financial management, hands-on project management and excellent digital knowledge.
What would you be doing?
Day-to-day you will be managing the relationship with one of our biggest clients, ensuring excellent communication with all stakeholders and providing hands-on management of some projects.
You will be involved in a very varied mix of projects covering content strategy, motion graphics, design, copywriting and technical planning and build. You will be the guardian of client processes, ensuring that briefs, scopes, budgets and delivery documentation is always in place and are continually reviewed and improved.
In this role you will be working closely with a team of strategists, producers, designers, copywriters and programmers to produce work that delivers a high level of quality and strategic thinking. You need the experience and confidence to know when to contribute and steer the work, and when to step back and let others shine.
You will also be responsible for the financial management of the account, including quotes, budgets, invoicing and financial reporting.
You need to...
- Have spotless written and spoken communication skills
- Have a genuine understanding of digital communications and web technologies
- Have a minimum 5 years industry experience
- Be numerate and able to proactively manage financial aspects of the account
- Be a good negotiator who can get people working to a shared goal
- Be able to translate client requirements into prioritised and tangible actions
- Be thorough and not afraid to get stuck into the details
- Show maturity, self motivation, honesty and a hard-working ethic
- Show passion and ambition in your role
What else?
It would be preferable if you have experience working with a global brand and multi-lingual projects, and you will definitely need experience in website builds and digital content creation. Experience in with mobile projects would also be an advantage.
